eroico.org: The Random Kvetches of Hajii al-Badr

That's right: Obama's reign of terror has ended.

Sure, his presidency is only ten months old but it's been, like OMG, an entire year since we elected him and it's plainly clear that it's all over.

This is the not-so-subtle subtext of today's triumphant headlines about gubernatorial races and the like. Whether it's the Washington Post or the Telegraph in Britain, our hapless media fucks are insisting that Obama has been dealt a serious blow, a rebuke, or whatever stupid adjective these losers can come up with.

And you know what? When you insist that this is way to frame what's not even a mid-term election, you're going to dupe a lot of easily-duped morons into thinking it's all true.

The media hyped up all this up because, well, that's what they do, and managed to turn an off-season election cycle into a Glimmer of Things to Come. This of course, gives hope to the Republicans who will seize on the meme and insist that like Nixon, they're rested, tanned and ready rather than a corpse. Of course, this distorts the reality that the purge of so-caled moderates is anything but over. Fucks like Limbaugh, Beck and the other human dildos at Fox News want moderates out and out-of-touch conservatives in, but I'd like to see their explanation of how that strategery failed so badly in the heretofore unknown 23rd district in New York where the Democrat won against all odds.

Yes, it's another day for the media to prognosticate badly and attempt to cast this election as bad news for the White House. And knowing Democrat's fundamentally weak-spined nature, they'll probably fall for it. After all, what is the Administration doing to counter the perception that Obama hasn't accomplished anything so far? Listing of the facts?

Please, we're Democrats, we think people will look these up on their own and logic will overcome populist stupidity.

Good luck with that.
