IN LOCO ESSE

12 November 2017 | â€œLike 15-Year-Old Children”

One officer wrote, “it was obvious they were angry with the company about not being invited to some press conference or some big Apple event. We expected to see a certain amount of professionalism—this is like 15-year-old children talking.”

This comes from a police officer who was noting the consequences of the Great Gizmodo iPhone 4 Theft Caper of 2010, when the iPhone maker decided they didn’t want a company that purloined its device going to any of their events anymore. But here’s the kicker: this is how **all** techie boys think and act, like spoiled 15 year-old *boys* with entitlement complexes. It’s part of the entire culture; this is not unique to Gizmodo employees. And this is part of the “toxic masculinity” that infests the tech world and beyond.
