Well, they gotta be convinced they got there on their own. That is the secret of right-wing propaganda and the formula to mold mens’ minds (along with constant repetition). Unfortunately, Democrats and Democratic supporters keep trotting out “when they go low, we go high” that has shown to be totally ineffective. Add to that the Democratic propensity for squirming about looking “elitist” and willingness to tear each other down before the message gets out the door.
