Despite the Media Whores’ attempts to bothsides the violence of the weekend, the political calculus of this election has not changed. Not one bit. It is still the same choice.

I know a president has to be, well, presidential and reassure the nation and all that. Biden has done that, twice now. Good for him. But as no one votes for someone because an address from the Oval Office, no one votes for anyone because he was shot at. See under: McGovern, George. Look how the electorate has voted in the past couple years: voters do not like overreach, and Democrats have gained ground in areas they were not supposed to, and that is because...voters do not like (Republican) overreach. It ain’t all roses, but the trend is there.
